TRC Alder Boardwalk Style Soap Dish

Didn't expect a soap dish to become a little centerpiece on my sink, but the hand-cut boardwalk slats look great and let water drain instead of pooling around the bar. Knowing it's made from sustainably harvested red alder here in the US sealed it for me.

Didn't expect a soap dish to make me care about my sink, but the red alder is genuinely pretty and the boardwalk slats drain water fast so my bar doesn't turn to mush anymore. Being handmade in the USA sealed it for me.

The red alder has a nice warm grain that actually looks good on my sink, and the slats drain water well so the soap doesn't sit in a puddle. Only gripe is it's a bit smaller than I pictured, so a chunky bar hangs over the edges.
