This 26mm fan knot feels noticeably denser than my previous badger, giving a really nice face feel. The 3-band Manchurian hair has a perfect balance of soft tips and backbone for lathering. It bloomed out nicely in my handle after the first soak and hasn't shed a hair.

Glued this knot into a custom handle last night, and the fan shape is exactly what I wanted for lathering soaps. The backbone is perfect—firm enough to load hard soaps but the tips are incredibly soft on the face. Really impressed with how well it holds water through three passes.

The hair is dense and springy right out of the box, and the 26mm fan knot sits perfectly in my handle without any shedding after the first few lathers. It holds heat well and releases just the right amount of cream for a thick, cushioned face feel. I’m already planning to order another one for trave
