“Skookum” means “strong” or “great” in the old Chinook trade jargon, and this blend lives up to its name. Inspired by the heritage of the Lingít (Tlingit), Xaadaas (Haida), and Ts’msyen (Tsimshian) Peoples of Southeast Alaska, Raven’s Brew created this coffee as a tribute to their enduring culture and wisdom. With deep roots in Ketchikan, the company donates 100% of the profits from all Skookum® products to the Sealaska Heritage Institute’s Baby Raven Reads program, which promotes early literacy and cultural preservation for Native Alaskan children. This blend isn’t just coffee—it’s community, respect, and legacy in a cup.
