Pirate. Patriot. Honored Chevalier. John Paul Jones is considered by many to be the Father of the United States Navy. His naval career saw battles across the Bahamas, Nova Scotia, and the Irish and English waters, culminating in his most famous engagement at the Battle of Flamborough Head. Though his ship, Bonhomme Richard, was ultimately sunk during the fight, victory was secured. When called to surrender early in the battle, Jones famously replied, “I have not yet begun to fight.”

Start your day with the spirit of that same defiance. John Paul Jones shaving soap opens with bright bergamot that feels crisp and commanding like sea air at dawn. Traditional bay rum follows with warm spice, evoking the age of sail and the grit of wooden warships pressing forward through hostile waters.

Directions for Use

Load a damp shaving brush directly from the soap container. Build a rich lather in a bowl or directly on the face, gradually adding water until the desired consistency is achieved. Apply to the beard and shave as usual.
