Finally found a knot that actually blooms well without needing a break-in period—the bulb shape holds lather perfectly right out of the box. The 26mm diameter gives just enough backbone for face lathering but still feels soft on the skin.

The loft on this 26mm knot is just right for my hand-carved handle, and the bulb shape whips up lather fast without any shedding on the first use. The synthetic bristles feel dense but springy, so it’s become my go-to for daily shaves.

The bulb shape sits perfectly in my custom handle, and the synthetic fibers are softer than I expected while still having that springy backbone for lathering. It whipped up a thick cream in about 30 seconds flat and rinses clean with just a few shakes.
