I toss this in my dopp kit every weekend and the aluminum shell has kept the razor head from getting banged up. The lid only opens about 90 degrees though, which makes it a little fiddly to get the razor seated. Still, it's light and feels solidly built.

The push-button latch snaps shut with a satisfying click, and the hard case gives me peace of mind when tossing it in my bag. Wish it had a foam insert to keep the razor from rattling around inside, but it does the job.
